No offense taken at all.
I would caution you, however, to not fall into the trap of labelling churches canonical or uncanonical based upon a non-issue such as the calendar. You see... both the ROCOR and the "true" Church of Greece are not in communion with 95% of Orthodoxy worldwide. The vast number of Orthodox churches in communion with one another are BOTH Old and New Calendar churches (i.e. the Moscow Patriarchate and the Ukrainian Church both are Old Calendar churches while most of the Greek Orthodox Church, the Antiochian Church and the OCA to name but a few, are New Calendar).
This really is a can of worms. There's little point in hashing out the arguments either side will bring to forward to support its view. I happen to be New Calendar however if our church were to revert to the Old Calendar it would not phase me in the least. For me it is a non-issue. Instead what is a much greater issue is the fact that my church happens to be in communion with well nigh ALL other Orthodox churches save for the couple that you mention. These are schismatic... meaning, quite simply that they have broken away (splintered if you will) from the Orthodox Church worldwide. In fact, ROCOR has just recently split again (it split a few years back into another schismatic group called the HOCNA). Such is the curse of becoming schismatic... you splinter and then splinter again and again.
If you wish to become Orthodox, you should make certain you are in communion with the vast majority of Orthodox Christians.
