LOL... our posts are out of sync, I guess.
I'm glad I can help. I might add that my wife and I are 2 hours from our own parish church. We have a difficult and somewhat dangerous drive through the mountains to reach it and twice in the past month our car has broken down...right smack in the middle of that mountain pass. Both times it was dark, cold and raining. The second time our cell phone (which we bought after the first breakdown) did not function since we were in, what they term, a "shadow" area. We had to wait several hours before anyone would stop to help us. Needless to say, we will not be going to church for several weeks until the weather warms again and our nerve has returned to us. It means, in effect, that we must be careful to "be" Orthodox in somewhat isolated conditions. Soooooo... we observe the fasting days to the best of our ability... we say our prayers morning and night in our holy corner (icon corner) and we talk about these things from time to time, encouraging one another. The internet also gives us the opportunity to discuss and share our faith. No.... it's not such a bad medium (computers/internet) even though misunderstandings are easy. ;-)
