Re: orthodox worship

Thank you all for your responses as they all are very helpful.
The priest of the church (or is calles parish?) that we have visited is coming next week. I must say that I am nervous and I'm not really sure what questions I have anymore but I'm looking forward to his help. The search that "ve been on is seemingly coming to an end for me in that it is becoming more clear all of the time what the "right way" is and that is the Orthodox church. In fact it is to me almost scary to even consider going to a protestent church now. It is like in the gospel of James where he says to do or not do something that you know to do or not to do is a sin. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel like I was given a gift of knowledge and now it is my turn to do the right thing with it. Forgive me if I'm babbling. I just want us to be rooted in the body of Christ. Thank you all again for your responses.
