I'm sorry about that, James. I didn't mean to leave you with the impression that I have any objections. What I am attempting is to offer a systemmatic answer to the question of rebaptism and Confirmation. I too, like yourself am an Orthodox Christian.
My priest and spiritual father back when I converted to the Holy Faith had led me to some of the writings of the Church fathers that demonstrably showed a systemmatic approach to this very question. Also the local Synod of Carthage of 419 touches on the subject as well. There are a few canons, can't remember where, that speak to the issue of how certain converts from various bodies of heretics were to be received.Of these canons they all seem to follow the approach that theologically orthodox thinking schismatics that were previously baptized in their respective communions via a trinitarian formula were to be received by confirmation only. All others were to be rebaptized. Again, please accept my apology. I didn't fill in all of the blanks
