St. Nicholas Church, Manhattan, NY

I would like to start a discussion on how we as various jurisdictions of Orthodoxy in the United States can aid the Grrek Church in the reconstruction of St. Nicholas Church, which was destroyed on Sept. 11. I know that we can all send money to the church for its reconstruction, but is there a way that SCOBA or another pan-Orthodox organization can make this reconstruction a memorial for not only tose who dies, but a memorial for the entire faith of Orthodoxy in the US. Through this horror, God has given the US Orthodox Church the opportunity for a great witness to the faith. I hope all Orhtodox in the US can participate in this effort in a unified manner.
