I just wanted to say that we as converts and cradle orthodox, should try to remember that the True Faith, The Orthodox Christian Faith, transends all of our weaknesses and failures as people. The reason why there are so many problems in orthodoxy is the fact that there we have so many people in it. Just think of all of the problems that St. Paul had to deal with in the churches that he and the Apostles had formed two thousand years ago. Expecially The church in Corinth. But guess what, it was still the Holy Apostolic and Catholic Church. And remember Jesus's parable about the weat and the tares. Also remember that it is only the Church Triuphant, the Heavenly Jerusalem, that is spotless. We are still in the Church Millitant, and although we participate in the heavenly worship whith all of the Saints, we are far from perfect. We must always keep in mind that it is the Church here in this life that has an advasary. The devil has attacked the church from without and from within for the last two thousand years. Every time that I here of some trouble in the church or of some evildoer making a mochery of the faith, I just think to myself, this sounds just like the same church that the Apostles, expecially Paul, had to deal with, I guess that I am in the right place.
