Maybe you know about it already, but check out the "Black Orthodoxy" group on www.groups.yahoo.com.

Also, there's an interesting book called: Wade in the River: The Story of the African Christian Faith (CrossBearers Publishing, Kansas City, MO, 2001) by Fr. Paisius Altschul. I recently got a copy, and while I haven't yet had a chance to read it, I hear good things about it. I also personally know Prof. Raboteau, who wrote the forward, and this is a book he's recommended to me. I know this doesn't address the "resources" question specifically, but it's kind of related so I thought I would mention it. Let me know, if you get a chance to read it, what you think.

Anyway, maybe we'll cross paths on the yahoo group I told you about.
