I was born into an Anglican family but was not raised to attend church.
I became a member of a non-denominational evengelical church and was that for about ten years or so.
I than started to attend an evengelical Baptist church and became a sold-out Baptist in every way for about 7 years.The last two years of being Baptist I studied the O.T. and for various reasons I found myself having a great desire to worship God as He wanted me to worship Him. I prayed for Him to show me how to worship Him and I came to realize the Baptist church could not meet the desire of my heart.
I am to be Chrismated along side of my wife this coming Monday, Jan 5 / 04. Discovering the Orthodox Church to me was the Lord's answer to my prayer of God teaching me how I was to worship Him. Because of our believing this was God's direction for our lives my wife and I did not have a great deal of trouble accepting the teachings of the church.
God is so faithfull.
