Dan I dont think that you are rude talking about theology is not simple matter.It is true that Christianty is rational it is not a fairy tale it is based on facts however,our understanding of the facts often times differs from one person to the next our even from one group to another.Why is it that some very rational people do not understand the facts the same way that you and i understand them e.g the empty tomb.And inspired writings what about the letter of Jude ,where Jude cites the book of Enoch
do this mean that Enoch is part inspired text?What about the authorship of the letter to the Hebrews?What part did the church have in deciding what was canonical ?Did Jesus condemm tradition? the Jews in the 1st century were steaped in tradition. e.g the Mishnah and Talmud.
