I have a similar problem as the one I just read. I am Jewish, and my fiance is an Orhtodox Christian. This is our second marriage. We are are adults, with grown families and not planning on having any children. We have already spoken with his priest and we are well aware that if he marries me in a civil ceremony he cannot take communion. This is diffiicult for him as he has been brought up strictly in his church. I cannot convert and be baptized as it goes against all my ancestory and heritage. So, we dont know HOW we can get married??? We are a wonderfull couple, get along so well, and are very much in love. I am fine with a civil ceremony. Is there any way we can be married and he will not be excommunicated?
